Notorious artist and respected entrepreneur Blaine Halvorson returned to his old stomping grounds in the School of Art at MSU to meet up with students in Stephanie Newman’s new class called GDSN 376 Screenprinting. Giving students insider tips and artistic insights Blaine shared his knowledge of how to use modern screenprinting as a powerful graphic medium. Blaine is one of the original founders of the Los Angeles based company Junk Food, which produces licensed t-shirts for massive franchises like the NFL, NBA and NASCAR, as well as for musical legends like AC/DC, KISS, Jimi Hendrix, Motley Crew, Pink Floyd, Run DMC, The Who, Rolling Stones and the Beatles.
