What-A-Trophy!
Congrats to Mary Meccage, an MSU Graphic Design Alumna (2011) on winning her age group in the 35K Ultra Trail and Unseen Koh Chang race in Thailand this past week. She also placed second among all female runners. Pictured here is Mary with her one-of-a-kind trophy acknowledging her fantastic finish. Mary worked at Classic Ink for two years right out of college, then went on to work at Nike for a year, and most recently at Jolby and Friends in Portland, Oregon.
Rick Griffith, Matter (Denver) visits MSU.
What is Matter? Matter is a uniquely strange place, compelled by craft, steeped in history and deeply dedicated to letters and words. Besides being obsessed with projects in the public good and design with purpose, we also screen-print, offset print and letterpress print our way through the year with experiments, exhibitions, and other projects.
Join us to hear Rick Griffith wax philosophic on design, design education and whatever else he deems fit to inform us about.
Reynolds Recital Hall, MSU Campus, Thursday, February 12, from 6-7pm.
Sponsored by MSU Graphic Design and DSEL MSU (Design Sandbox for Engaged Learning)
